    Mining cargo charter sits at the intersection of two constraints that don't apply to most other freight: the destination is often a remote airstrip with limited runway length, surface strength and ground handling equipment, and the cargo itself is frequently oversized plant, mechanical or structural components tied to a shutdown or maintenance window that cannot move. Getting either constraint wrong, the wrong aircraft for the strip, or a schedule that misses the shutdown, turns a freight delay into a production or safety issue on site.
