What air freight charter means
Scheduled air freight moves your consignment inside a shared belly-hold or freighter service that is already running to someone else's timetable, on someone else's route, with capacity shared across many shippers. Air freight charter reserves an entire aircraft, or the entire remaining capacity on a combi flight, for one shipper's cargo, on a schedule the shipper controls.
The distinction matters because the two products solve different problems. Scheduled freight is efficient when your cargo fits standard dimensions, your timeline has slack, and a routing already exists between your origin and destination. Charter earns its cost when any one of those three conditions breaks down.
