    What the 777F is built for

    The Boeing 777F is the efficiency choice in the long-haul freighter fleet. As a modern twin, it offers strong payload and long range with lower fuel burn and operating cost than older four-engine types, which makes it the frequent answer for high-value, time-critical cargo where speed and reliability matter more than raw outsize capacity.

    The 777F carries a maximum structural payload of around 102 tonnes on a main deck built for standard aviation pallets and containers, loaded through a large main-deck side cargo door. It does not have a nose door, so it is optimised for palletised and containerised cargo rather than extreme-length pieces.

    That standardised deck makes the 777F fast to load and turn, which is why it is favoured for repeat charter programmes and express networks.

    Range and reliability

    With a range of roughly 4,900 nautical miles at full payload, and considerably more at lighter loads, the 777F covers long intercontinental sectors with high dispatch reliability. For Asia-Pacific shippers, that reach and reliability make it a default for trans-Pacific and Asia-Europe high-value freight.

    Its lower operating cost relative to four-engine freighters also makes it attractive for longer-term charter programmes where cost-per-tonne over many rotations is the deciding factor.
